In this work, I sought to capture the vibrant essence of the freedom one feels at sea. Using acrylic, I married semi-abstract and pop styles to create a feeling of movement and energy. The slender white masts rise proudly above the sailboats, standing out against a deep blue background that evokes the calming immensity of the ocean.
