Water is a great source of inspiration for making unusual surrealistic and metaphysical atmospheres, permeated with a sense of stillness and solitude, which lead to inner introspection. This type of subject also poses a continuous technical challenge, not only for a realistic and convincing representation of the figures immersed in water, but also for the rendering of the movement, transparencies, reflections, chromatic variations and distortions of the reproduced figures. The intent is to convey the sensation of suspension, of weightlessness that one feels immersed in water, which translates into a sense of freedom of separation from the constraints with which we are often forced to suffer. The oil was chosen to render the reflections, the transparencies and its movement of the figure and of the water itself.
