This series of macaw paintings trigger a deep thought... About the greater universe, the constellations and how we perceive them.. About the star light - what it actually is and again what we see/capture out of it and then how we interpret it... each stage is important to make any meaning of this universe and our role in this life on this planet we call home...
There is an ultimate Creator or whatever created the universe, and then the artist comes. The work of an artist is to capture whatever they see and observe through the eye of their soul and put it in an artefact, an authentic expression of their feelings about a subject and then comes the role of an interpreter who makes a comment on the perceived reality offered to you on a platter by an artist. Even though artist's dedication and loyalty remain true towards the natural universe; the artist should always create for a viewer, a consumer - a person who is going to indulge with a free mind with their own expense of time and effort to simply look at a piece of artwork. That act of consuming is as important as the act of the great creator.
Each of the paintings in this series pay a tribute to the observer - an entity which doesn't get its due often in the art world but in reality carry the highest responsibility.
